"Eat me! who play with the visual world of cartoons and film-noir strike at the audience with no mercy: one moment they lull us with their enchanting music, the other we are in the midst of a maddening racket, their energy hits us from the stage. Vehement drum-bass section, guitar effects, mad synthetizer, energetic female voice and powerful stage presence convey these.
Eat me!, founded in 2005, have played in nearly all Budapest concert premises, and have experimented with the extremes of music styles with their special guests in their regular club performances. The band that classify themselves as psychopop have proved themselves to large audiences, conquering the audiences of such different music styles as Morhceeba (PeCsa) and Novuelle Vague (a38 boat) among others.
WEEP, Eat me!’s first album, came out as an author’s edition in April 2009. Several relevant music magazines have highly appreciated this album.
